Robyn Moreno's DIY floral arrangement with herbs
I have been talking about sprucing up store bought flowers with fresh herbs for YEARS, as they smell amazing and give texture and a bit of poshness (if you will) to lame ready made bouquets. Unwrap the plastic, tie on a sassy ribbon or twine and you, my friend are good to go!
So, I was extra excited when I splurged on a floral arrangement for my dermatologist (the awesome Dr. Doris Day) and they added mint to the arrangements of peonies. How amazingly FRESH in every way! The bright mint added gorgeous color to the bunch and smelled sooooo lovely!
I am about to plant an herb garden, so now I have EXTRA use for my herbs—love it!
In addition to mint, rosemary is a great addition to a bouquet—pretty in its piney-ness, and oh-so-fragrant. Lavender is another exquisite option.
Have you ever used fresh herbs in a bouquet? If so, let me know!
